The Consumer Goods Council of South Africa’s 2014 CGCSA summit will focus on Unlocking Stakeholder Potential by turning Insight into Action. It’s not just about the what, we focus on the how it was announced today.
The summit will take place on the 28th and 29th of October at Vodaworld in Midrand.
“We are pleased to invite past and new delegates to this year’s instalment,” says Gwarega Manghoze, CEO of the CGCSA. “The CGCSA Summit advisory panel, consisting of top executives from a number of major South African Consumer Goods Industry businesses, have put their heads together to bring delegates a rich and relevant agenda, reflecting the true expectations of retailers, suppliers and third-party service providers.”
This year’s Summit will be split into different streams namely:
- Operational excellence in the value chain (Profit through efficiencies and stakeholder convergence).
- The age of consumer and shopper engagement (Meeting the demand of a demanding, economically stretched shopper to drive loyalty and profit through efficiencies).
- Wholesale & Retail SETA conference
- SOCAP (Strengthening your consumer care front line to deliver bottom line results).
- Women’s forum workshop.
“We at CGCSA are working once again to deliver a meaningful consumer goods industry event,” says CGCSA CEO, Gwarega Mangozhe.
“This year the CGCSA Summit 2014 is all about unlocking stakeholder potential and coming up with solutions on how to solve various issues. We will look at the burning issues facing us every day and provide delegates with practical solutions to their most pressing business imperatives.
“A concerted effort has been made to have a mix of international and local speakers addressing the selected topics with the maximum of 45 minutes per session,” concluded Manghoze.
